Get togethers: These are informal and are being supported well, with some
new faces turning up each time. We meet at the South Island Sappers HQs, the
Papanui RSA. Any time after 1700hrs, on the second Friday of the even months
of the year, see dates above, (October this year is the third Friday,
Sappers Day). Food is available, as are Drinks. Come along and see who turns
up this time.
Anzac Day: We would like to see as many as possible turn out to the parades
at Papanui or Akaroa, Akaroa of course is where the Sappers have the Freedom
of the Borough and the RF troops parade and march with the locals over there
every year. Good day trip or have weekend over there, may be in the Army
